We have some very exciting news; we’ve welcomed High Tea Cannabis Co. to the Jima family, and we can’t wait for you to meet them!
The first High Tea location opened in Brampton, Ontario in February 2021 and nobody was allowed inside (due to health and safety regulations at the time). But did they let that stop them? H*ll no! Despite not being able to welcome customers in-store, they’ve become a go-to spot for locals in their communities. The brand was created with a vision of providing high-quality products at competitive prices with highly educated staff. They wanted to shake up the industry by becoming a source of knowledge for people who are curious about cannabis, and a source of community for their customers. Since then, they’ve opened 5 more locations across Southern Ontario and they’re delivering on their promise. Now that their doors are open, they’ve been planning exciting events and partnering with local businesses to say thanks to everyone who came for curbside pickup (or drive-through😱) and welcome to everyone else.
For us, it was music to our ears to hear about another brand that’s so like-minded when it comes to the customer experience and community. One of their core promises was to provide dynamic pricing, something that we practice at Jima with our price match program and smart pricing that checks in daily with the competition to make sure we’re never over-charging.
We wanted to create a cannabis company that does more than sell pot; a company that adds value to the communities we’re in, and High Tea feels the same. Because we focus on local organizations when it comes to outreach, having stores on the opposite coast means that we can do more together than we could on our own. That means our top-quality customer service, great prices, and community outreach will span all the way from BC to Ontario (don’t fret if you’re in another province, we’ve got plans for you in the future😉).
High Tea has locations in Brampton, St. Thomas, Windsor, Scarborough, and York with more stores opening soon in Hamilton, Beamsville, Petersburg, and North York.
